Product Overview
Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) is a nutrient-rich general-purpose solid culture medium widely used for the cultivation and isolation of a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including aerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria.
The medium contains enzymatic digests of casein and soybean meal, providing essential nutrients such as amino acids, peptides, vitamins, and nitrogen compounds that support the growth of many fastidious and non-fastidious organisms.
TSA is commonly used in clinical microbiology laboratories, pharmaceutical quality control testing, food microbiology, environmental monitoring, and research laboratories.
