Preparation Instructions

• Suspend 5 g of Plate Count Agar powderin 1 liter of distilled or purified water.
• Heat with frequent agitation until completely dissolved.
• Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.
• Cool to 45–50°Cbefore pouring into sterile petri dishes.
• Allow the medium to solidify before inoculation.
